Reminder: USCIS Filing Fee Increase
Effective July 30, 2007 Effective July 30, 2007, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") will significantly increase its filing fees for applications, petitions, and biometric services. Because of the extended filing date for adjustment of status applications through August 17, 2007, current employment-based adjustment of status filing fees, and fees for advance parole and EAD applications, will remain in effect through that date if the underlying adjustment application is filed pursuant to the July Visa Bulletin. For all other filings, including EAD and advance parole extension requests, the new USCIS filing fees will apply to all petitions and applications postmarked or filed on, or after, Monday, July 30, 2007. For a complete USCIS fee schedule, go to: http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/FinalUSCISFeeSchedule052907.pdf .
