DOS Releases June 2010 Visa Bulletin: Advancement of Priority Dates for EB-2 and EB-3 Categories in China

The Department of State (DOS) released the June 2010 Visa Bulletin, indicating slight advancements in the employment-based second preference (EB-2) category for individuals born in China, as well as for the third preference (EB-3) categories for all countries except Mexico. The EB-2 cut-off date for individuals born in India remains unchanged and the EB-3 visa for individuals born in Mexico remains unavailable.

Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved for, an adjustment of status application in the month of June 2010. They may also be approved for an immigrant visa abroad:

November 22, 2005 (forward movement of two months)

February 1, 2005 (no change)

EB-3 Worldwide (excluding China, India, Mexico and the Philippines):

October 22, 2001 (forward movement of 21 days)

EB-3 Mexico:

Unavailable

EB-3 Philippines:
