DOS Releases September 2010 Visa Bulletin: Priority Date for EB-3 Worldwide (Except India, China and Mexico) Continues to Advance
The Department of State (DOS) released the September 2010 Visa Bulletin, indicating a six-month advancement in the cut-off date for the employment-based third preference (EB-3) category worldwide, except for India, China and Mexico. The cut-off dates in the EB-2 categories for individuals born in India and China advanced by two months, and the EB-3 category for individuals born in Mexico remains unavailable. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved for, an adjustment of status application in the month of September 2010.
