April 2010 Visa Bulletin Released: Slight Advancement of Cut-Off Dates for EB-2 China and EB-3 for Most Countries
The Department of State (DOS) released the April 2010 Visa Bulletin, revealing only slight advancements in the employment-based second preference (EB-2) category for individuals born in China and advancements in the employment-based third preference (EB-3) category for persons born in most countries. The EB-3 cut-off date for individuals born in Mexico and EB-2 cut-off date for individuals born in India remain unchanged from the March 2010 visa bulletin. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved for, an adjustment of status application in the month of April 2010.
