DOS Releases March 2010 Visa Bulletin: Advancement of Cut-Off Dates for EB-2 and EB-3 Categories
The Department of State (DOS) released the March 2010 Visa Bulletin, revealing slight advancements in the employment-based second and third preference categories. The cut-off dates for the third preference (EB-3) category for individuals born in India advanced 10 days, while the EB-3 category for individuals born in China, the Philippines and all other countries advanced more significantly by approximately 4 months. However, the cut-off date for EB-3 individuals born in Mexico, remains unchanged from the February 2010 visa bulletin. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved for, an adjustment of status application in the month of March 2010.
