Significant Advancement in EB-2 China and India Cut-Off Dates Announced in August 2009 Visa Bulletin
According to the Department of State's August 2009 Visa Bulletin, the immigrant visa cut-off dates for employment-based second preference (EB-2) category for applicants born in China or India will advance to October 1, 2003. The employment-based third preference (EB-3) category remains "unavailable" through the month of August 2009. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved, for an adjustment of status application in the month of August 2009.
