DOS Issues January 2009 Visa Bulletin: Little Forward Movement in Most Employment-Based Categories
The Department of State (DOS) issued its January 2009 Visa Bulletin, announcing slight forward movement in the employment-based second (EB-2) and employment-based third (EB-3) categories for persons born in China, India, Mexico and the Philippines. The EB-2 and EB-3 cut off dates for persons from all other countries remain unchanged. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved, for an adjustment of status application in the month of January 2009.
