The Department of State ("DOS") issued its September 2008 Visa Bulletin, announcing forward movement of approximately 8 weeks in the employment-based second preference ("EB-2") category for persons born in China and India. The cut-off dates for the employment-based third preference ("EB-3") categories remain unavailable for the rest of the 2008 fiscal year, which ends on September 30, 2008. Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the cut-off dates below, or where noted as "current", may file, or be approved, for an adjustment of status application in the month of September 2008.
