The United States Department of State ("DOS") has released its July 2007 Visa Bulletin.  The Visa Bulletin sets out per country priority date cut-offs that regulate the flow of Adjustment of Status ("AOS") and consular immigrant visa applications.
  

How This Affects You

After over eighteen (18) months of significantly retrogressed priority date cut-off dates, priority dates for the EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories are now current for all countries.   On July 1, 2007, foreign nationals from any country in the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 preference categories may file an AOS application, or obtain approval of an immigrant visa application at an American embassy or consulate abroad.

A continued forward trend should not be assumed, however, as priority date cut-offs are assessed on a monthly basis by the DOS based on anticipated demand. Cut-off dates can move forward, backward, or remain static.
